I just thought I would ask if there is any interest for fret blades for saws with a 30mm arbor. One of our "familiy" has asked about a blade for his Felder table saw. The price for one blade, mostly because of the special slots that need to cut for this saw, is STEEP. But if we can get 10 made the price becomes more reasonable. Here are the actual costs for the blades. If there is any interest please let me know. Yup I have. This blade requires and couple of slots cut for indexing pins on the Felder so they require some lazer cutting. I just figured if there were others with a 30mm arbor we could get a few and get the costs down for those interested but unable to find one. Thanks Shane |

I have a 20 mm arbor on my table saw. I bought the Stewmac blade that has a 5/8" (15,9 mm) hole, and had a local machine shop ream the hole to 20 mm for $5. They might charge more for 30 mm, but not THAT much... |

No problem Bruce glad they made it! That is good to know Arnt. The only real problem with having a machine shop drill them out is that these blades are made to a very high tolerence for runout. I mean that they are true to +/- .015 on the 6 inch diamtre. I don't know if drilling the arbor hole would change that or not or if it matters unless you are doing hundreds of boards. Shane |
